i’ve seen a couple of older posts on this subject, but wanted to know if anyone has a recent experience that could help.

Two older Avids, 1 sdi mojo, 1 adrenaline box.
Mojo version has the illusion fx plugins available, the adrenaline doesn’t. The Adrenaline has the plugin in the avx plugins folder, but it won’t show up in the effects tab. Have tried copying the plugin from the one box to the other, but to no avail. Have also tried copying a newer one from 5.03 in, but again, no go.

Aside from a total re-install, any suggestions on “installing” this plugin? Had to restore an old project, and it is using one of the effects. Show is in HD, so can’t jump to the sdi mojo box.

Have downloaded an install for the adrenaline at its current version 2.7, but there is no seperate plugins pack or anything like that with it. Also, having a bit of a time finding the original install disc to see if it had anything seperated out.

    Any ideas?

It’s part of the original install – and I don’t think you can steal these. Even on a mac the install/uninstall is a 10-15 min processes. Probably the best way to do it. You should be able to download 2.7 from here.

You’ll need to create an account on their site if you don’t have one – and if you download the wrong version your dongle will prevent it from working – but yes, you can download 2.7 directly.

You won’t find the BCC plugins with this install, so you’ll definitely want to find those disks.

from Avid and did an fresh instal. All is back.

    Thanks.
