Hi. I need to make something with transparent background, but I need to make it to fit into some video. Its more comfortalbe for me to edit in Sony Vegas, so I making images as a layer on picture form video to fit in it later in sony vegas, but everytime I adding it to render queue I need to mute picture, so it does not appear in final image.

Can I somehow make that background picture to be ignored in render ? I just have 2 layers – background picture and the other one and need that background picture to be ignored in render. I think that I have seen in somewhere, but I’m not sure if it was in AAE. I cant find it anywhere there.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Right click on the layer you want “ignored” and define it as a “Guide layer”. Any guide layer will not be rendered.
