OK I know it’s a dinosaur, but I updated the computer 4 months ago. Had no problems. Now (and it did come out of nowhere)whether I digitize or try to import any sort of file into a bin, it goes into freeze. It LOOKS like I’m digitizing. If you look into into the media file, the clips are apparently there. But nothing will go into the bin. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled twice and it still acts the same way. Not a hardware issue, as far as I can tell. Any ideas?

Are you running QT 7? If so, back up to 6.5

    I feel silly…
Did uninstall on QT 7. Restarted computer.
Reinstalled 6.5 (from the iFinish install disc), but it keeps failing to initalize. iFinish won’t even open.

what’s failing to intialize? the QT 6.5 installer or iFinish?

when I try to just call up the QT player, it fails to initialize. When I try to start the iFinish program it won’t start ” missing Quick Time Media layer. Try reinstalling Quick Time”. So I uninstall QT and reinstall from the Media100 disc.
