If you link your Youtube channel to Google+ pages, it breaks SVP12.770’s “Upload to Youtube” function.
Well, tonight is just a bug-fest for me. Although in this case the blame rests solely with Stupid Google. Sorry if this is already a known problem.
As many of you know, Youtube will nag you relentlessly to connect your account to either your Google + Profile or to Google+ Pages. Earlier today I caved and chose the lesser of the evils, the Google+ Pages option. It seemed benign until a few minutes ago.
Here is the feedback I presented to Google when I disconnected my channel from Google+ Pages:

When I connect my channel to my Google+ page, it breaks Sony Vegas Pro 12’s ability to use the “upload to Youtube” function, which is essential for me to publish to my channel. When the account is linked, Sony Vegas 12 (build 770) returns the error “Failed to link to channel.” When I connect my channel to my Google+ page, it breaks Sony Vegas Pro 12’s ability to use the “upload to Youtube” function, which is essential for me to publish to my channel. When the account is linked, Sony Vegas 12 (build 770) returns the error “Failed to link to channel”. After I disconnected, I was able to use the “upload to Youtube” function.Until this is fixed, I cannot link my channel to Google+ pages. Please work directly with Sony Creative Software to fix this problem.
