December 10, 2007 at 11:17 pmUse an advanced compression program like Sorenson Squeeze to get the best possible compression with any format or codec. If your just using quicktime to do it, you’re losing quality and getting a bigger file sizes than you have to.
squeeze can even target a specific file size – so if you want it to be 5MB you can tell it – make sure it’s 5 MB.

December 14, 2007 at 7:04 pmWhat about MPEG-4? Or 2 or 3 for that matter. Why the small filesize? For web delivery? If so, you can’t get smaller than flash. On2VP codec is tiny and great quality.
