    Hello,
I know that’s not a very informative subject line, so here’s my problem:

In C4D, when I move an object by dragging in the viewport, if I drag outside the viewport, the object shoots off into the distance, at a ridiculous pace. The same thing happens if I’m scrubbing a number up or down; for example if I’m scrubbing the position X of something, if my pointer gets to the edge of the screen, the number goes crazy. Also, if I then try to scrub the number back down by moving the mouse in the opposite direction, the number continues to increase wildly.

This behaviour is usually fixed if I “hide” C4D and go back to it. But it’s very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

    I’m running C4D R14.042 on a Mac Pro (Mac OS 10.7.5) with 2x Nvidia Quadro 4000.

…in fact, the dragging of numbers thing happens even if I don’t drag the pointer off-screen – I can scrub a value up, then drag the mouse back down, but the value will continue to go up, regardless of the direction I drag the mouse. Very odd.

That’s a new one on me. Have you contacted Maxon tech support?

I sent a bug report, but heard nothing back.

I’ve only seen something like this when running C4D on the Mac at work using VNC from a PC elsewhere in the building. I’ve never seen it on the Mac itself.

I think my Mac is just uniquely flaky and unreliable. Lucky me!

Maybe C4D 15 will fix it when I upgrade.
