iDVD cutting off inside tv safe area
Hi,
I have been trying to burn a DVD using iDVD for about 3 weeks and I cannot figure out why the inside of my TV safe area keeps being cut off.
I made the project in Final Cut Pro and exported it as .dv, .mov, .avi, .mp4, each one trying different settings but they all do the same thing – cut off my sides. Both Final Cut Pro and iDVD are set to PAL. The project is 16:9.
I have used different computers, different external disc drives, different televisions but nothing works. The weird thing is when I play it on my computer it plays fine – nothings cut off.
I have now moved the titles so far in to the centre of the project its ridiculous. They cant even be near the edge of the TV safe area or they will be cut off entirely.
Has anyone else had this problem or know how I can fix this? I’m about to tear my hair out!

There are 2 – Title safe and action safe? Your titles should be withing Title safe. This is the most inner set. Is this what you are doing?
