iDVD 4X3 issue
So I shot a ballet recital for a client in 16X9. After he tells me to convert it to 4X3 because 16X9 makes dancers look fat.
So I use Quicktime Conversion in FCP and squeeze the footage to 4X3 — no problem.
However, when I take that QT file into iDVD (as well as TOAST) and burn the DVD, it plays as 16X9 on my TV. I don’t get it. I doublechecked that the project settings were on 4X3 before burning and it still doesn’t want to play as 4X3.
Anyone have any ideas about what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

The client doesn’t have his player set up correctly. It needs to be set up to match the playback monitor.
