I have a piece of a video that was originally shot on a Vericam @ 60fps, and then it was downconverted to SD digibeta. My clip in FCP is from the digibeta, in an SD project. Is there a way to make this playback as it was originally intended to play when the footage was shot through this project? Thanks soooooo much!

The varicam shoots 60p…60 frames per second…REALLY smooth. Digibeta is only capable of 30fps, so it will only play 30fps. It cannot play back 60fps.

Why not capture the original Varicam footage?
