Ideas for a cool background for a lyric video using concert stage
Hey guys!
Anyone have any cool ideas for a background for a lyric video to display lyrics on a concert stage? I am thinking flood lights on top and then a stage and then the lyrics are popping out on stage, kind of like the look of the movie Rock Of Ages. Very 1980s hair metal vibe.

On our local production of “Sunset Boulevard”, a mechanical servo flipped up a large white card, something like 3 feet by 15 feet, spanning about the middle of the stage at floor level. Onto this, a projector would flash words in typewriter font, like: “Stage door, exterior, Day,” along with typing sound FX and then the video would fade and the sign would quietly flop down out of sight. This gag started every new scene/ location.

I would do a search on Vimeo and YouTube and look for inspiration there.
