  • Ideal Blu Ray settings for large projection in FCPX

    Hi,

I have to make a blu ray disk for a projection in an art house cinema. Does anyone know which settings are ideal?? I can use the standard settings but perhaps I can set them manually in FCPX for higher quality.

    Best Regards

Not a whole lot of leeway if you want it to play in a Blu-ray player. Better if they let you hook up a laptop and stream ProRes over HDMi.

If you have Compressor 4.x (well worth the $50), it has a built-in BluRay setting – which you could set up as a Share destination in FCPX preferences…

Same blu-ray settings are already in X, aren’t they?

Well, how about that? Hadn’t seen that in the Destinations pane before… looks like there are a few more configuration options via Compressor if you’re so inclined.
