Try to learn some of the 3D stuff in Photoshop. I notice that when I hover over the icons in the 3D panel, it doesn’t tell me what the things are (such as Filter by:…) So I have to guess or look up what these are. Then I see some of the icons show descriptions (like Launch Bridge, Arrange Documents) and some don’t (like toolbar icons. Is this just a quirk on my setup, or is this an odd part of Photoshop?

Oh, I just looked at a tutorial video, so it appears that it’s my setup! The descriptions should appear… maybe it’s my video/Open GL/DirectX setup? Odd that some appear and some don’t… I did read that some people have an issue with icons not appearing under “Arrange Documents”, I also have that problem. Must be related??

    thanks

OK, today ALL the icons show descriptions when hovering, however the “Arrange Documents” pull-down does not show icons… I think I’ve seen the icons there once since getting CS4 about a month ago…
