Icing up effect
im trying to create an icing up effect either in AE or FCP. I want to film an object say a TV and then add an effect that looks likes its starting to freeze, abit like the day after tommorow movie, so i am looking for some cracks and icicles to appear and then it to get thicker so its covered in thick ice. I am still newish to this packages so please be abit detailed in your answers or post links to pluging/tutorials

No way to do this in FCP with stock filters, AFAIK. But, since you’ve cross posted, please consider returning here and telling us how you made it work.
