    iChat Theater – Real World Experiences: anyone?

    Anybody used iChat Theater Preview yet? I have a client who is interested. They want to buy a laptop to do this. Can they use a PC Laptop? I’m assuming that requires using AIM instead of Mobile Me.

    I checked the manual (Both Final Cut Studio 3, which I am using, and iChat under Leopard 10.5). Neither manual mentions PC compatibility. I”m wanting to recommend a Macbook Pro, but these guys have no Mac experience.

    And I’m a little leery of anything labeled America Online. (I made the mistake of buying Time Warner stock in 2000 right before they merged – but that is off-topic).

    I had an remote edit session that lasted 5 hours all with iChat. It was great! Your client needs a Mac and a .mac-.me account with is free from apple.
