You mostly don’t. There’s very little that’s real-time with Ae in the real world, no matter what hardware you’re using, unless you are doing very simple work. There are only a couple situations where real-time or near real-time work is possible: relatively straightforward effects on the current releases of Ae (where the GPU accelerates the effects), and demos of limited complexity.
