I wouldn’t have believed it possible
A couple of us do some volunteer work shooting chef demos at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market. They get the best chefs in Atlanta. To kick off the season we had a communication mixup and the second cameraman thought the demo was cancelled…and he had all the sound equipment. I had a shotgun mic but with the size and noise level of the crowd, plus a soft speakng chef, there was no way it would do anything from as far back as I was. So, in a “McGuyver moment”, at the last second I threw my Nokia 920 on the table using a paper cup to prop it up. I couldn’t believe what I got, a little cleanup and it salvaged the shoot. here’s the vimeo link: https://vimeo.com/93940835
