  I wish there was a universal search.

  Wouldn’t a universal search with a good keyboard shortcut be awesome? Or at least quick access to the filters search box and a few other key search boxes?

  for example (quotes = “keyboard input”):

  “ctrl-space” [search bar pops up]
  “gaus” [the gaussian blur in the effects panel comes up]
  “option-d,” [the selected filter is applied to the selected clip]

  “ctrl-space” [search bar pops up]
  “scale”
  “135” [scale of the selected clip is 135%]

  “ctrl-space” [search bar pops up]
  “bottom of the hill b-roll” [keyword collection for bottom of the hill b-roll is displayed in the event]

  and yes, I am procrastinating on a project right now. Also, as long as I’m wishing I’d also like a “focus that shot” filter and a “make that into a story” tool.
