So I have footage of this interview subject but she talks sooooo slowly. I want to speed her up just a bit. I did this and it looked fine…I made sure to check off “Maintain Audio Pitch”…and the audio ended up sounding reverb-y. Like multiple tracks were playing simultaneously. Any clue how to fix?

That is from phasing and that happens in Premiere Pro. As such, I use Adobe Audition to speed up audio and maintain the pitch. It’s really easy to do. Just bring in your audio clip and go to Effects>Time and Pitch> Stretch and Pitch. Set your new duration or stretch %. Make sure pitch shift is on 0.
