Guys I created this brief rotating animation of the earth, but I want it to zoom out as it begins the rotation and zoom in just before the animation ends.

After that, You have to learn cinema 4d basics.
I would animate a camera in a null object. So crate a null object, make sure that the null is at the center of the sphere. add a camera while holding the SHIFT key. This will make the camera a child of the NULL object.
