I solved my problem and it was NOT Sony Vegas Pro-11!!
A few days ago I asked for help on text appearing in the “render as” window of Vegas 11 showeing up as empty boxes. Sony support worked on this and had no answer. A few days later the problem began to appear in a Toshiba help page.
Toshiba support suggested that I had a corrupted OS. specifically a bad font file, perhaps induced by my installing an older version of “Office”. We did a system restore and Bingo, problem resolved.
I am happy to say that IT WAS NOT A SONY VEGAS PRO 11 PROBLEM!!

Thanks for getting back to us on that Kevin. Corrupt fonts can cause lots of problems with programs that use them. That’s a hard one to detect.
