  I need to save some shapes inside a text file.

  I want to build a script to save some shape layers in a txt file so i can reproduce them later. I have some thoughts about how to do this, but first i wanted to ask if there is a standard way, or maybe a way that is kinda easier. I know how to extract the vertices/intangents/ouittangents. My question reffers to a clean way of writing them inside a file. What kind of file should i use? Is JSON what i need? I would really appreciate some directions toward what i should google for :D.
