    Hello,

I need to take audio from a video that I shot and create an audio CD. Should I render this as MP3 and then burn to a disk? Or, is their a better audio format to use. I am a bit concerned that only a few of the cd players can handle MP3 cds.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

personally I just did one and like always formatted as WAV burned the disc right off the Vegas timeline-never left Vegas for the job. Granted it was only a 2 minute piece but I pulled the audio from the video and simply burned it right there. Finished that and went back to video editing.
MP3 will give you a smaller file size and 99% of computers today will read MP3.

Take a look at Vol 1 #10 of my newsletters. You can do all of this straight from the Vegas timeline – including adding CD tracks. I definitely would NOT go to MP3 as an intermediate.
