Activity Forums Adobe After Effects I need to cast a shadow on to a layer that will be invisible in my composition. How?

    For your “shadow catcher” layer, use a white solid, set its mode to Multiply, Accepts Shadows = On, Accepts Lights = Off.

    Strangly i did try this with the blue solid and thought ‘maybe if i change it to white’ but i thought id ask on here. Thanks a lot mate, works a treat! 🙂

    You could also make a copy of the bike, add the fill filter and set to black, add gaussian blur, change to 3d layer and position as needed….
