I need some help here.
I am running a hp xw8200.
3.6 Ghz 3GB Ram
After Effects 7
I have about reached my limits of the system it says it runs out of memory rendering.
So im wondering what the best solution would be.
Will the extra gb of ram make that much of a difference?
Upgrading to vista is out of the question.
Would upgrading to CS3 offer any additional boost in performance?
Im open to ideas. -

Use the secret menu to purge what’s in your ram. This will speed up rendering as well. I have this enabled and never have any issues on large, 3d comps.

Holy crap ive been using after effects since I was 14 and never knew that. But that sure enough fixed it.
