    Greetings,

I just started an independent film that was shot with an Alexa camera.
The dailies have been imported by the assistant editor and I just received the hard drives today.

The assistant imported the footage as Apple PS 444 2048×1152 @24fps.in log c I believe.

He sunk up each take and created a timeline for each scene.
    For example,sc.1 timeline has all sc.1 set-ups.

I don’t have individual clips just these scene timelines.
I want to edit with individual clips not sequences, so short of re-importing the footage what is my work around to make an individual clips from these sequences?

Also would it be more efficient to work with a proxy file?

I have 2-4tb drives via FW. One drive has 220.39 GB free and the other has 2.68 TB free.

    Thanks for your response.

Are picture and sound clips in sequences linked? If yes, Select All, Copy, switch to Browser, Paste. If they aren’t linked, link them.

    Yes.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the response.
    I’ll give it a shot.
