    Hey folks,

I’m building a waterfall with the emitter & metaball and it looks and behaves great. However, I want the water to already be falling when the scene starts. You’d think that it would be as easy as setting the start emission parameter to a negative frame number, ie. -45. No dice. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Any help is much needed and greatly appreciated.

Add negative frames to the project too. Your emitter can start at -45 but if your project has not played past there they will start where ever. So add frames to the timeline and bake the particles when you are happy and render from frame 0.
