Hi, I have Final Cut Pro 6 and I wanted to zoom-in/enlarge on some of my shots in order to avoid an object that was in the background. I thought stretching the wireframe would do this. However, I thought that once i stretched the shot, that it would be cropped to the original size so that the unwanted background would not show up on the screen. Unfortunately, I am left with a bunch of shots that are in different sizes. How can I solve this problem without manually cropping each shot?

I’m not quite understanding the scenario here – did the image fill the frame before you streched it?

Regardless, use the crop tool in the motion tab to crop the image after resizing. You can also use the crop tool from the tool palette.

Use the copy/paste attributes function to keep the resize/crop uniform across shots.
