I need HD Mpeg 2 Output
I need to export my HD projects to HD Mpeg2 files to upload on our server.
I don’t have an MPEG2 option on FCP X and I don’t have an HD MPEG2 option in Compressor.
So, what is the best solution? -

What kind of “HD MPEG-2”?
Compressor has this capability, but there are many flavors of hd mpeg2 and it can’t do them all.
You will have to create your own preset, most likely.

As an alternative to Compressor – I just made an mpg2 file for broadcast the other day. There’s a preset in Adobe Media Encoder. Worked great. Just made a couple tweaks to the setting.
