    Hi,

I’m on a Avid Media Composer Adrenaline, and I miss my shortcut for scaling the timeline.
I am used to have it on the up and down arrows, but on the media composer they are presat to going throgh a grouped clip.
Now I can’t find the shortcuts for scaling the timeline in the command pallette.

    Any surgestions?

    I tend to use:

CTRL-M for lassoing a section of the timeline I want.
The CTRL / for getting it back to its entirety.

Then as needed I use CTRL [ and CTRL ] to scale as needed (in and out).

    Thanx. I’ve got it.
But is there anyway that I can assign the “Crtl [” and the “Crtl ]” to the up and down arrow??

    Yes.
Use the Command Palette in “Menu to Button” mode and assign a key to the “More Detail” and “Less Detail” entries from the timeline fast menu (More is zoom in, less is zoom out).

Menu to Button is great – I have things like Render and Audio Mixer tool asigned to keys in that way.
