    I load video in but it does not play back. I can see the video but will not play.

    Hello,

    I added a folder containing my video clips and everything looks normal, but when I click the play button nothing happens. I added the clip to the time line to see if the review work area would play the clip but nothing happens.

    Could I have imported the files wrong? Could it be as simple as a settings issue?

    need a lot more info;
    1. The properties of your video clips…what is their source?
    2. Your system specs including drive configuration.

    Can you see images in the Source or Program monitors?

    Here are the specs on the video:

    Type: H.264
    Image Size: 1920×1080
    Aspect Ratio: 16:9
    System Bitrate: 18.00 mbps
    Video Format: H.264
    Video Bitrate: 16.00 mbps
    Frame Rate: 29.97 fps

    I don’t know my system specs, but when I don’t have the video in premiere I can play it if that helps at all.

    I do know that my system sucks and I’m actually waiting for my new one to come in the mail.
