I have the earth (sphere) tilted on a 23 1/2 degree axis. I am using the OBJECT coordination system. When I rotate the object, it looks fine as I am doing it. But when I play the animaton, it seems to use the WORLD coordination system. The earth wobbles in a circle around the axis rather than rotating ON the axis. I know I am missing something really dumb. Can you help?

    Thanks,

I’m as equally confused, but- this tutorial sounds perfect for you:

Solution: first put the sphere in a null–then animate the sphere’s rotation.

    Noah,

I think you are correct. I am sure it will help me feel a lot smarter!

Can’t wait to look it over. Thanks very much.
