When I load footage and drop it into the time line all of my clips are unlinked. They come in as separate (not stereo pair) audio and the audio is unlinked to the video. The little audio linking buttons on the left side of the timeline are still hooked together. Not sure what I did, but this happens to all new sequences and new projects.

    Thanks in advance,

    -Bryan

Sounds like you need to change your capture settings. Click on the Capture Settings tab of the Log and Capture window, then click Scratch Disks. Make sure that “capture audio and video to separate files” is unselected. Click on the Clip Settings tab in the Log and Capture window and make sure that the mono/stereo toggle switch is set to stereo capture – the two green speaker icons will have a line connecting them and the toggle switch icon will have two circles intersecting.

You probably turned linking off. There’s two little buttons (by default) on the top right of your timeline. Together, they look like a little pill. CLick the linking button so that linking is on and you should be good.
