Can somebody tell me what I-Frames and B-Frames are in MPEG2 encoding?

An I-Frame is a complete frame. B-Frames and P-Frames are delta and predictive frames from the previous I-Frame. They only contain the changes. This is how MPEG get’s it’s high compression ratios i.e., every frame is not completely saved to the stream.
