    Hi everyone!
I posted something last week regarding using Image Sequences in FCP (a feature that has been annoyingly absent since v.1). The most annoying thing was that Motion very easily recognizes that these files are image sequences, but there’s no way to easily bounce those over into FCP.
    But check it out:

The situation I’m in is I’m working on an animated feature that’s got about 1400 shots in it. Ultimately I have to check the uncompressed image sequences against the offline sequence in the FCP timeline. I’d rather not have to export all of these quicktimes.

So I figured out that I can’t send from Motion to FCP, but I CAN send the offline quicktimes (photo jpg, 1280×720) to Motion, drop the image sequence on top, save it, and when I bounce back to FCP, it’s there. And I don’t have to generate 1400 quicktimes at the rate of over 50 a day to do it! I even checked the Motion file and it’s only 48K.

Is this too good to be true, or is this a totally valid method?
