I can’t get Knoll Unmult Plugin to show install in CS5
Posted by Cary Tobey on January 4, 2011 at 4:23 amI am using a MacPro 10.6.5 running After Effects CS5.
I have made several attempts to install the free Knoll Unmult plugin and can not get it to show up anywhere under effects.
I assume there is something silly and easy I am not doing so could someone please outline the process of getting the plugin to appear in CS5?
Thank you in advance

January 4, 2011 at 3:13 pmThat was it. I had been to that very download site several times and just totally missed the the drag-down menu so I was getting the old version every time.
Thank you!!

March 13, 2012 at 4:48 pmHi Jonathan
thanks for the info. the issue I’m having though is with CS5.5 and wether there has been an update to unmult or not.
I’ve tried the 64bit plugin in all the relevant places, UI scrips, plugin folders etc. It still doesn’t show up in AE.If anyone has had any luck with CS5.5 pleas elet me know. I could be missing something very simple, woods for trees etc.

March 13, 2012 at 5:01 pmAll is well. At last.
Thanks all for your help. After frantically trying it in every conceivable place it works.Even though my CS5.5 still says there are multiple copies of unmult on my machine, which there aren’t, it is finally working. It is the 64bit unmult plugin dropped into the mediacore folder. But in CS5.5 it shows up as a 32bit plugin but it works and that’ll do.
