  I can’t export .aaf files!!!

  I’m sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I’ve recently decided to learn Avid Xpress Pro and since i’ve used Sonicfire Pro 3 for a while I wanted to use the metasync info to create an audio track. Using the tutorial found on the smartsound website, I tried export an .aaf file to convert to .xml in the Metasync Publisher.
  I can’t do it. Avid doesn’t export an .aaf file. I’ve repeated the steps over and over again with no luck. Any ideas? I’ve saved my own export settings 3 different times. I’m not sure if i overwrote the original .aaf settings in the export options. Is there anyway to reset them back to the default setting and delete all the setting I created if I did? Does it even make a difference? Any help is incredibly welcome!
