I cannot open the file, text message appears instead of pic
I got this error when i was opening an Illustrator file from a client.
“This is an Adobe Ilustrator File that was saved without PDF Content. To Place or open this file in order applications, it should be re-saved from Adobe Illustrator with the “Create PDF Compatible File” option turned on. This option is in the Illustrator Native Format Options dialog box, which appears when saving an Adobe Illstrator fule using the Save As Command.”
I know it might sound dump, but does this mean that the client has to open this file and when saving turn on the PDF compatible file option and send it to me?
Why this happens, iam using Adobe Illustrator CS4.
