I am selling a complete storage set for post-production (EUROPE/ITALY/MILAN)
I am selling a complete storage set for post-production studio. (we used it in our post production studio connecting 6 mac workstation and 1 windows workstation) The performance is about 800/900 megabytes/s for each workstation. The configuration has been designed to have data and machine redundancy. If the main NAS were to fail for any reason, the backup unit could be put into operation in a few minutes. The configuration was recommended to me three years ago by BOB ZELIN (a guru about storage solution) and consists of:
a) 1 unit Qnap Desktop NAS TS-1685-D1531-32G-220W 16-Bay (12x 3.5″, 4x 2.5″, 6x M.2) RAID (Xeon D-1531, 32GB RAM, 220W)
With 12 hard disks installed (+2 spare ones still sealed) Seagate Ironwolf ST8000VN0022 each having 8TB of storage capacity.
b) 1 unit Qnap Desktop NAS TS-1685-D1521-32G-550W 16-Bay (12x 3.5″, 4x 2.5″, 6x M.2) RAID (Xeon D-1521, 32GB RAM, 550W)
With Nvidia GTX 1070 video card usable on virtual machines.
With 12 hard disks installed (+2 spare ones still sealed) Seagate Ironwolf ST8000VN0022 each having 8TB of storage capacity.
c) 1 unit Switch 10gb Netgear Xs716t-100nes 16 ports
d) 1 unit APC Smart-UPS SMT-SmartConnect – SMT1500IC
e) Few (3 or 4 pieces) Qnap 10GbE PCI-Express Card QXG-10G1T
Amazing performance! In the office.
Great for post-production video.I would like to avoid shipping and prefer pick-up instead.

I forgot to mention that since the Covid period, we rarely went to the studio. Therefore, the conditions are practically like new
