I recently updated to Sony Vegas Pro 12 Build 670 and I am unable to work with projects or render them. My preview screen will look like this: https://gyazo.com/0c4e6aacf9dcfe27a15a9f69418945f3 and my final render will end up looking like this: https://gyazo.com/dbd326883702032c4af347a818c8d801

I have done completely fresh installs of Sony Vegas by deleting the old version, and all data in App Data but still the problem persists. I thought it was because I was using the new 13.8 Beta drivers from AMD but after back-dating to 13.4, I realised this is not the case and it must be something to do with the 670 Build.

Has anyone else had this issue or knows how to fix it.

(I have tried different files types (avi, wmv and even a jpg image) and different render settings and formats)

Sorry, these two links just reveal two strange looking ‘patterns’ to me. No real image at all. Maybe someone else, if they can ‘see them’ can help.

There’s a thread on the Sony Vegas forum and the users there are recommending build 13.1
    AMD cards and Vegas 12
If that doesn’t work, then roll back to the previous build.

What you are seeing is exactly what Vegas Pro 12 is rendering out. That’s the problem :
For now I am using Pro 11 again but I would like to know what the problem is that is causing it…
