HyperDeck Studio: Codecs for Smaller File Size
Does anyone know if or when additional codecs will be implemented to give us a smaller size?
ie. DNxHD 145 or DNxHD 36?

+1 on this – would also be interested in using such codecs (maybe even AVCHD) however in the meantime I am stocking up on 120GB drives and recording in DNxHD – this gives an hour+ of recording per drive and allows some time to copy the MXF files to a larger external hard drive in order to rotate the disk back into operation.
What would be a very useful gadget is a small field disk copy device that doesn’t require a PC/laptop to copy from an SSD to larger external SATA drive.
So a sort of portable standalone HDD docking station that can do fast disk copies of drives that are not the same size.
Maybe a mobile phone or tablet can provide the UI!Neil
