we have 4 Hyperdeck studios that we use as ISO recorders for our 16:9 SD ob system, my question is,

when I import the footage in to my Premiere Pro, project it comes in at 4:3, and I have to rescale the footage to be 16:9.
I have set the Premiere project up as Blackmagic 16:9 10bit YUV, so it should import correctly…

    ideas anyone ?

    thanks

This is because the qts themselves are not flag 16×9. This over rides your premiere pro setting. In FCP there is a simple checkbox for flagging 16:9. Does premiere have this in the format windows for the clip?

    Hi Juan

thanks for the info, just found it, under “interpret footage”
they have a setting to conform it back to 16:9 🙂

    thanks
