Hyperdeck Shuttle – will it also get DNxHD?
Hi BlackMagic, title is self explanatory. I don’t know what the BMD policy is wrt announcing product features, but perhaps you can answer in the negative.
I’m looking for a long-form portable recorder, and the Hyperdeck Studio is not it. Will the Shuttle also get the DNxHD codec or should I hand my money to ATOMOS?

Ninja is shipping and is only ProRes.
Samuri is NOT shipping according to their website which has DNx
I’m hoping and waiting that BD comes out with a competing product
that is better and cheaper – as BD always does. -

They claim that the studio thing is two shuttle recorders in the same cabinet – so why not. I am considering which recorder to buy – but I have to wait to see if shuttle will come with a kind of compressed format.
