    Hyperdeck Shuttle 2

    I’m considering using the Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 as an outboard recorder on a Sony F3 with s-log. Anything I need to know before going in? We’ve got about 25-35 hours of footage to capture. Mostly interviews, but a few walk and talks. If recording to SSDs using ProRes, how much space do I need? Does the shuttle 2 record to ProRes or only ProRes HQ?

    Also, any SSDs to stay away from or that work particularly well?

    We use San Disk Extreme with very good results. They run about $1/USD per Gb of storage.
