    Greetings. I am doing some legal work and they want timecode burned in the original footage. Is there any way to do this. Unfortunately can’t put it in in post. Jim Gurney

    The camera won’t record bitc to the p2 cards.

    You’d have to use a switcher and multiplex in a time clock of some sort post p2 record.

    If you need generated tc and clock tc to match the hvx200 doesn’t have a lot of capability to allow you to accomplish this goal.

    Actually, I just had to do this for a video deposition with the HPX170 and the 200 is the same, you can turn on the time on screen and it will display, via the 1394 out. We ran signal to a DVD recorder with the time stamp on the video from the camera.
