HVX200 time-lapse: DV or P2 modes ????
I’m considering buying a HVX200 primarily for time-lapse
work. Does the intervalometer work in the DV mode, or just with
the P2 cards…. or both?? My dealer didn’t know the answer. -

Intervolometer only works in P2 Mode.

We do this all the time, as a matter of fact
most of the timelapses on http://www.motionzonehd.com
are shot with the HVX.
If you get 2 – 4 gig cards
you can shoot 8 min on timelapse at 1080 30p…
plenty for most situations…
