HVX200 mixed with HPX175(not 170)
Im going to shoot snowboarding in New Zealand in September and the client bought an HPX175(got screwed by some website and asked for a 170, didnt listen to my advice to get it from B&H)Anyways, will we have a rough time posting footage from an HPX175 with HVX200 footage? Ive never touched the 175. The other op will use the 175 and i will shoot on my HVX200a.

As long as it shoots NTSC compatible frame rates- i.e. 24p, 30p, 60p, 29.97 it shouldn’t be an issue. I believe the ‘175’ indicates a non-US warrantied version of the 170. Sucks as far as getting hosed by a grey market dealer, but technically speaking no big deal.

Cool… Thanks, man. Just found out a friend of mine, covering the World Series of Poker, had been using an HVX205 and it’s no different cutting it than an HVX200.
