My component cable (that came with the HVX) is not working properly after a monitor drop. I need a replacement and I am coming u short with where to order one. Anyone know where to order this?

Also is anyone else having problems with the component cable not being tight in the camera and constantly loosing signal? I have tried several differnt cables and the same problem with each one. Is this just a crappy design.

I’d agree it could be a bit more beefy. Try Abel Cine- they might be able to find you one.

Yes, I too am having issues. I am forced into buying my third cable in as many years. I bought the 17″ HD Panasonic field monitor and I am constantly forced to use a backup S-Video cable for monitoring, much to my and my client’s disappointment. The cable is very cheap and flimsy. A very weak link in an otherwise strong chain.
