  • HVX Lens Details?

I’ve read 13x zoom, and 82mm filter diameter.

    Any other lens details released?
    Manual zoom? focus? Iris?
    Minimum Focus distance?
    Macro?

By the way, thanks to everyone who is at NAB and is taking the time to answer these questions, and post info. Those of us stuck at home/work really appreciate it!

I wonder if the P+S Techniks Mini 35mm adaptor for the DVX will work on this, given the apparent similar body styles. Also, can’t wait to learn the dynamic range, etc… The 35mm adaptor will shave off 2 stops and soften the image somewhat, but ohhh the possibilities.

I’ve read in some of the links in the posts below the lens has a “SMOOTH CAM DRIVEN MANUAL ZOOM” and it is referred to as”WIDE ANGLE ZOOM”.

The mini35 adapter for the DVX will not work on the HVX, the HVX has a bigger lens diameter.

As for the cam-driven zoom, Panasonic is promising that this will yield smoother, better manual zoom feel and response.

The focal length is 4.5 – 58.5 mm.
