    Hi Guys
I have 720pN footage shot on HVX200 on an external hard drive and am trying to get it into FCP 5.1.4 but quality is low and a pop up box appears stating that FCP does not recognise these files. Can anyone tell me how I get the footage in at best resolution and with audio and image connected please?
    Guidance much appreciated! Thanks

You have to import these into FCP before you can use them. FILE>IMPORT>P2, mount your P2 folder on your external drive, select your clips, drag them to the bottom window.

FCP cannot deal with native mxf files.
