I’m having a problem with the HVX-200 1394 connection, it disconects as soon as its turned on Vista 64 on a Mac Pro. I also tried the usb port downloaded the drivers and when it asked to connect the usb device and continue it would not go any furthor in the install.

It works on the Mac side.

    Help Anyone?

What’s Vista 64? Do you mean you’re trying to connect to the camera with Windows via Parallels or some other virtualization? Why? I’d stick with connecting to it in Mac mode and avoid all the driver hassles or at least switch to Boot Camp. Connecting via USB is quite different from connecting via Firewire.

Problem solved, The vista 64 was running under bootcamp. I was having problems installing the driver for windows beacuse the settings in the HVX-200 menu was not switched to USB.

The reason for vista 64 bit is to use Eyeon Fusion in the workflow.
